The hotel re-opened its doors in 2011 after a multimillion dollar renovation, yet it became famous back in the 1980s when Calvin Klein filmed the advertisement for Obsession perfume featuring supermodel Kate Moss and shot by Bruce Weber on the famed rooftop terrace. After being closed for 5 years, the hotel is once again home to the only completely renovated boutique hotel on the block. The rooms are more spacious than the typical South Beach room. There is also a business centre.
